Where We Started

We have a personal connection with the moving industry. My late father's best advice was to work hard and do it well. Larry Parks is the president of Coastal Van Lines Moving & Storage and has been working in this industry for over 40 years. For Larry, moving is not just a job at Coastal Van Lines; it's a part of his family tradition.

"My grandfather started this business in 1917 with this truck, which he bought with the money he saved from delivering ice."

He was deeply committed to helping others, and this is something my son, Jake Parks, continues to do to this day. Jake is currently the Vice President of Coastal Van Lines.

In Our Community

Every year, Coastal Van Lines supports the Wreaths Across America campaign, where a wreath gets placed on every veteran’s grave in Indian River County. Our staff loads the trucks with wreaths and delivers them to all the different cemeteries, where we support volunteers in the placing of the wreaths.

It is an honor to be a part of this event, so that we may remember those who have served our country.
