My experience with Coastal Van Lines in Vero Beach Florida and then in Wisconsin was stellar. From the beginning, working with Jake Parks, who made the quote and work order, was a walk in the park! He was fun to get to know, knowledgeable and fair as well as being constantly available. It was quite a complicated move, led by James Read, combining the contents of a large home and two storage units, moving things to a Vero condo and then, the rest across the US up to Wisconsin. The packing took 4 days with 5 or 6 men every day. They admitted that it was a huge move, but definitely not the hardest they'd done! There were many large, high value/fragile/antique items that I was worried about--but no need as there were crating professionals building custom wooden crates in my garage for the most challenging items. James Read is such a fine person; a thoughtful and strong leader who was clearly respected and loved by his co workers, who all seemed to be great friends. The move, which could have been so different, was easy and delightful, lots of laughing and support. I am so thankful for that. Even the new crew that joined James and the absolutely lovely Josh in Wisconsin (and the largest Semi truck that I've ever seen) were so fun and capable...and strong!! I watched those guys hold massive pieces of furniture on their backs and take them up three stories of stairs for two days! Getting huge pieces up a wooden spiral staircase was a breeze for them. I couldn't believe a lot of the things they accomplished. James, Josh, Norris and the rest of the crew were so special to know and see their painstaking diligent work. These guys really believe in the little details and human touch and if I ever had to move again, I would want all of my crew back again. I can't recommend Coastal enough.
